Dobrich is a town in northeastern Bulgaria and the administrative centre of Dobrich Province.
Dobrichis theninth most populated cityin Bulgaria, the administrative centre ofDobrich Provinceand the capital of the region ofSouthern Dobrudzha. It is located in the northeastern part of the country, 30km west of theBulgarian Black Sea Coast, not far from resorts such asAlbena,Balchik, andGolden Sands. The city is named after the Bulgarian medieval lord of the surrounding region -Dobrotitsa. Agriculture is the most developed branch of the economy.
